Preach it, my Irish brother!

It's extraordinary to me that the United States can find $700 billion to save Wall Street and the entire G8 can't find $25 billion dollars to save 25,000 children who die every day from preventable diseases.

As a facebook friend of mine in Phoenix put it - it's amazing that socialism is somehow okay in America when it means taking care of wealthy businessmen and their businesses, but it's not okay when it means taking care of the sick and poor.
